1. It presents a somewhat adverse yet somewhat true stereotype that children plays gadgets more than reading books and seem to it it’s not that bad and it’s not that good either. But, this practically is a generalization, of course, not all children plays gadgets. All in all, I believe that this isn’t really necessary. 2. This stereotype is very harmful and adverse, it shows that women should do the cleaning, women should do the cooking, and leave all the ‘hardwork’ to the men which, in fact, is not true at all. It practically promotes a false idea towards children that a woman’s only role is to clean or cook which is basically harmful and somewhat misogynistic. This shouldn’t be taught to children. 3. Again, in my own belief and opinion, I believe that this also shows an adverse stereotype on young boys. It incubates young boys that they should always play and act masculine. Which is adverse—and it promotes toxic masculinity; also toys have NO GENDER, boys can play whatever they want! 4. Like with all my opinions and thought on each said stereotype, I believe that this stereotype is heavily sexist and misogynistic, alongside with the stereotypes against young boys. To reiterate my sentence on number 4, it practically promotes that young girls should always act like this or it would make them any less of a girl. Again, this is harmful. 5. People from a foreign country will practically get the wrong idea if a Filipino doesn’t act like what the pictures are doing. To summarize, stereotypes are practically harmful—it promotes people a wrong idea on a said society or said gender. It shouldn’t be romanticized at all.
