passive voice construction, let us challenge our knowledge through the
following activity.

Activity 1.1 Active vs Passive:
Direction: Determine if each sentence is written in active or passive voice,
encircle the voice. Underline the "doer in each sentence.
Example: (active/passive The policeman arrested the criminal.
active/passive 1. The new curtains were hung by the women.
active/passive 2. Ayala Construction Company built our neighbor's house.
active/passive 3. The new building was constructed by the workers.
active/passive 4. The brave fireman entered the burning building.
