1. The air goes through your nose and nasal passages. these passages are equipped with hairs mucus and cilia that moisten, filter and warm the air before entering your lungs.
2. The air enters your respiratory systems through your nostrils
3. Air travels from nasal passage to the pharynx (throat)
4. The air goes directly into the trachea
5. The trachea divides into two cartilage tubes called bronchi. This part is also covered with cilia.
6. The bronchial tubes divided and subdivided until they become tiny group of tubes called bronchioles
7. Each bronchiole ends in a tiny air sac called alveoli. this alveoli is surrounded by several numbers of capillaries. The exchange of O and CO2 between blood and air occurs on this wall
8. When air leaves the pharynx it passes into the larynx. As the air expired, the vocal cords vibrate which enable us to make a sound
