Hey name of someone you have difficulty loving (a rival, a sibling, a classmate, a relative, etc.),
I know we aren't really at that stage of our relationship that we can just naturally and casually write letters to each other like this, but I felt like I needed to do this. We've known each other for quite some time now, yet I still can't seem to feel comfortable hanging around you. And I would hate for you to feel resentment towards me because of this, dear no, it's just that I want to address the elephant in the room so that we can finally let it out. I'm sure that we're both aware of the tension every time we're in the same room, but why?
I learned from the book of Matthew that we must repair this relationship of ours. Calling our relationship "rocky" is one, so why don't we try smoothening it out? Let's take a chance, name of someone you have difficulty loving! Write soon!
Praying for you,
Your Name

"Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering." Matthew 5:23-24
I tried to make the letter as general as possible so you could use it for anyone. Good luck!
