What is the difference between a regular and an irregular figure/shape?
A regular figure is a figure with equal sides and interior angles. For instance, a square has equal sides and angles. On the other hand, an irregular figure has sides and angles of different measurements. An example of this would be a rhombus since it has equal sides but not equal angles.
How do you find the area of irregular figures?
You can find its area by splitting it into regular polygons then finding each of their areas. Find the sum of each of their areas to get the area of the irregular polygon.
