1. Distance learning is any learning that happens without the learners
being physically present to do or study the lesson. Learners may
communicate with their teachers through mail or electronic mail. This is
a big help in education because learners can continue their education
especially in this time of pandemic. The learning will never stop because
of the distance learning.
2. Have you ever seen a mouse or rat in or around your home? If so, you
may have a rodent infestation. Mice and rats are considered pests since
they steal food from people. They are hard to get rid of because they
move quickly, and they hide in walls and other tight places that are
difficult for people to reach.
3. There are two types of people in this world: cat people and dog
people. Cats are easier to take care of than dogs because cats are
very independent. Also, cats clean themselves while dogs need
occasional baths. If you prefer a pet that requires more attention, you
may be a dog person. Most dogs are very loyal and obedient. Dogs
will also alert you when someone is outside of your home, whereas
cats will usually just stay quiet. Both cats and dogs like to be petted,
and they both make excellent pets.
4. Bacteria and viruses are microbes (germs) which are very different to
each other in structure and function. Despite the important structural
and cultural differences, both bacteria and viruses can cause disease
in similar ways: they invade and multiply within the host by evading
the immune system. Viruses are tinier than bacteria. All viruses have
is a protein coat and a core of genetic material, either RNA or DNA.
Unlike bacteria, viruses can't survive without a host. They can only
reproduce by attaching themselves to cells. Also, unlike bacteria, most
viruses do cause disease, and they're quite specific about the cells
they attack.
5. Cyber bullying is a big problem nowadays. It can happen in the digital
world such as cell phones, computers, and tablets. If one is expose to
any social media platforms or any online gaming activities, there are big
possibilities that one could be a victim of cyber bullying. So, we must be
a responsible user. Never use harsh words to someone for we do not
know the effect of those words to that person. Always talk to someone
you trust if you do not feel well. Act properly in front of the cyber world
to prevent bullying.
6. Starting an essay is difficult. Sometimes you already have an idea but
doesn’t know how to put those words together in writing. Here are the
few ways on how to write a simple essay. First and foremost, you must
decide what kind of essay to write. Next is you must brainstorm your
topic. Just write whatever comes in your mind. If you are sure about it,
it is time for you to research the topic. Then, you can now develop a
thesis. After that, outline your essay. Then it is time to write your essay.
If you are done, you can have your final touch by editing your writing.
Make sure to check spelling and grammar.
7. Global warming is an aspect of climate change, referring to the long-
term rise of the planet's temperatures. That is why it is very hot even if
it is not dry season. It is caused by increased concentrations of
greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, mainly from human activities
such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and farming.
8. Tinikling dance originated during the Spanish occupation in the
Philippines—particularly on the island of Leyte. Tinikiling is considered
a national dance in the Philippines and almost every Filipino knows how
to do it. It’s usually performed on special occasions like traditional
Filipino festivals or at school and theater performances.
9. The water cycle describes how water evaporates from the surface of
the earth, then it rises into the atmosphere, cools, and condenses
into rain after or snow in clouds, and it falls again to the surface as
precipitation.
10.Since COVID – 19 cases are slowly going down, government allows
children to go out if they are accompanied by parents or guardians.
Food establishments also allow 30% dining capacity. Curfew in some
cities is also lifted. But everyone still always needs to practice health
protocols and wear facemask.
