ANSWER: I think the article on the left side is biased while the article on the right side is balanced. Why? It is because the article on the left side mostly consists of personal opinion and judgments of the writer which makes it biased and not fair. On the other hand, the article on the other side just merely states facts and what happened during the event. Also, it is not biased as it also stated who are the other winners for the said competition.

ANSWER: You can easily detect biases in an article if the writer let his or her personal feelings and thoughts reflect in his or her writing. When it comes to writing an article, we should not be biased and present both sides equally so that the readers will have a clear picture and understanding of what really happened.
