Activity 3. What if this object could speak?

Go out. Take a walk. Try to look at your community or your home with a fresh set of eyes. Check out buildings, inspect that hundred-year old tree, or that distressed wooden bench across the street, or that dusty photo album tucked in the corner of your home. Look around and find something interesting, unusual, or ordinary. What if this certain building or that hundred-year old tree or that distressed wooden bench or that dusty photo album or that something interesting/unusual/ ordinary could speak? Let that inanimate object describe the things that go on around them. What have they witnessed in their history? Who has lived or died in the building? Has the tree witnessed emotional moments that have long since passed? Why is it there? What does it long for? Imagine that object is you and let it speak in the space provided below.​
