Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe.
More is better. They produce oxygen, shade, pull water table up, food, wood, nesting sites, stabilize earth lands, some nations are planting millions like Pakistan and China. Have read about efforts to plant treelines to slow the spread of desert, as well. I have planted more than 400 on my property. All but ten by hand. My opinion, evidenced by my actions is high opinion of planting trees of all kinds. Good for planet. Be selective some better than others!
