I would like to contend, cloning might be necessary in some other cases (purpose of conservation), but it is not great as this would disrupt the idea of uniqueness, own identity, and authenticity. God created humans, his original work, can we create the same? No, we are not God, and making copies of it would be pointless. Again, God created you, an original work, and somehow people find a way to make a clone of you. Is it fine and great? No, it is not, and terrifyingly enough, it could steal your whole identity. Essentially, the act of cloning defies law, nature, and morality as well as defy God. God's original creation is a creation that is holy and sacred and intended for us to authentically and uniquely experience, and making a copy of it would be a major offense and disrespectful as it would berate the very essence of the "originalness" of His creation. Just imagine an original work getting copied; if this is fine, what's the point of copyright. One can create something inspired by the original but never literally. Be your own original.
