•One angle of a triangle is 80° and the other two are in the ratio 1 : 3. Find these angles.

Answer:

Sum of angles = 180°

Let one angle = x

and 2nd = 3x

So, their sum is

1x + 3x + 80° = 180°

4x = 180° - 80°

4x = 100°

x = 100°/4

x = 25°

so, one angle is 25° and other is 75°
