1. Character formatting in Word has to do with applying formatting properties to enhance the appearance of individual text characters.
2.On the Home tab, in the Font group, choose the arrow next to Font Color, and then select a color. You can also use the formatting options on the Mini toolbar to quickly format text.
3.To apply small capital (Small Caps) to your text, select the text, and then on the Format menu, select Font, and in the Font dialog box, under Effects, select the Small Caps box.
4.Select the text you want to hide, switch to the “Home” tab on the Ribbon, and then click the arrow at the bottom right of the “Font” group. This opens up the Font window. Turn on the “Hidden” option and then click the “OK” button
