This is a little confusing for others to understand.
Many of you will probably think that the higher trajectory will take more time to reach the spot because it travels in an arc.
Because the shortest distance travelled by an object is a straight line. This is entirely true.
Which means that shortest distance means faster to reach by. So the higher trajectory will take more time because it does not follow a straight path.
Sad to say but it is not the case in dwaling with projectile motion, the lower trajectory will take more time to reach the spot.
Some of you will question like:
"Even though it is most likely to travel in a straight path?"
Sorry but this does not apply in Projectile Motion.
Why?
✔Because the higher trajectory will most likely maximize the force of gravity which affects the speed and acceleration of an object when traveling.
Due to GPE (gravitational potential energy) where it states that the higher the object, the greater its potential energy.
The greater the potential energy, the greater the kinetic energy.
The greater the kinetic energy, the faster the objects travel.
Which means that the object travelling at the higher trajectory is faster than the lower one.
