Burning of fuels by industries and factories spews a tremendous amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. These gases form a thick blanket in the earth's surface and cause greater heating of the earth. As a result , this heat melts the ice caps and glaciers in the poles come down as floods. In a much greater effect, the ozone layer is damaged and it allows the ultraviolet radiation of the sun to pass through the earth. This causes skin cancer, and other diseases. These activities of man put our earth in great danger but we can still do something before it is too late. We must save our planet because it is the only planet we have. Planting trees and plants is one best way to save our planet. Trees and plants absorb the carbon dioxide in the air. Their roots hold water in the ground and prevent flooding. Another way is to learn how to segregate our waste property. Avoid burning plastics to prevent pollution Clean our rivers and other water forms and avoid dynamite fishing. Let us save the earth now otherwise we may suffer the consequences of abusing our only place to live.
