Movement of tectonic plates generates enough energy that causes earthquakes which are released along the faults. As a STEM student, why do you think is it necessary to study the characteristics of fault system? We need to know about fault specially if you are near in that area because when the time comes earthquake will strike you will know where the safe place is. To educate them you need to gather them ij your barangay and told them about the falut for awareness.
