1. A mole signifies a collection of large fix number of particles (ions, atoms, or molecules).

2. Mole can be represented by n and its unit is also mole or moi.

3. Mole is defined as the amount of substances containing the Avogadro's

number in any kind of chemical unit.

4. Atoms, molecules, and ions are very small. It is quite impossible to calculate

their numbers.

5. The number of particles in a mole of any substance is called the Avogadro's number.
