It is indeed very important for the college students, especially aspiring teachers, to take computer courses because having a background about word processing, spreadsheet preparation and presentation techniques will help application of skills needed in Educational Technology 2, in such a way that it will be easier already to do hands-on application of computer skills when it comes to technology integration. W cannot deny that knowing such things will fasten our work as a teacher in the future, because we will be doing a lot of slide presentations for our demonstration as well as using excel to make computations of grades easier. For the fact that Educational Technology 2 focuses more on mediated technology, that is why in order to perform well on this course, the students must be equipped with the basic skills that are necessary for technology integration.
