And then use any measuring tool to measure its diameter (I recommend a tape measure) then half it to get its radius. For the first column, put the names of the objects you chose and be specific.
For example: "bottom of water bottle" or "hole of straw".
For the "Estimated Area" column, get the radius and round it off to the nearest 10, 100, or 1000 (depending on the amount of non-decimal digits) and then use the formula A = πr² (or A = (3.14)r²) to find the area. For the "Actual Area" column, use the formula A = πr² (or A = (3.14)r²) to find the area.
