The Tiger's Regret
Once upon a time, there lived all kinds of animals and birds in a forest near the continent of Africa. It included all types of animals such as bears, lions, tigers, deers, camels, and birds such as crows, sparrows, pigeons, and owls. The forest was progressing and all these creatures lived together under the leadership of the head lion. He was more of a friend than a king to these creatures. The birds and animals felt safe and secure under the lion's leadership.
On one such day, all the animals and birds including a camel, a crow, and a fox gathered around the lion to discuss their grievances and issues with him, the tiger was there too. He looked at the way the other creatures were happy and not scared of their leader. This reminded him of the mistakes he had made in the past as their leader. The tiger had been a leader of the forest once, but he never treated the other creatures as his equals or as his friends.
The tiger treated them as his slaves and didn't give them the freedom to enjoy life. With all this happening the lion stepped up and took responsibility. The lion was backed by other animals' support and hence was chosen as the next leader by the other creatures. Thinking about his mistake the tiger thought about how he could have been in place of the lion and a better leader for the creatures. He apologized to every creature in the forest for his mistake and accepted his fault. And the forest animals and birds lived with happiness later.
