I am a tree that stands upright, I learn and I grow as I expand my knowledge like the branches of the tree. I put down roots where I live and provide support to my local community as a tree provides shade and protection for the community (human and wildlife) that live around it. There are no other trees just like me and I so I wave proudly in the wind. My roots have been there since I was established . I keep myself well feed with nutrients and strength to combat all elements. My enemy is the wind, creatures, humans and fire. My struggle is to ensure my future by making sure I plant new seedlings for generations to come. My bark and leaves are distinct from others. Whether that be maple, walnut, fir, spruce or pine. When I finally come to my life’s end. No one hears my cries, my breaks or bends. I hit the ground in silence just how I began.
