1. There are several reasons why I like hunting rattlesnakes. First, is the element of excitement and
risk. Second, there's no closed season. You can hunt rattlers from spring to fall, at times when
little legal game is available. There's a challenge in it too, the challenge of learning the habits of
snakes and figuring out ways to outsmart them. They're secretive, cautious, and crafty, harder to
take than you might think, but with a little study you can learn how to do it. Finally, there's the
satisfaction of controlling the snake population.​
