I understand that organs need to work together to keep our bodies up and running.
I realized that organs work together in teams, called systems, to carry out major tasks. For instance, the stomach, intestines, and pancreas are part of the digestive system, breaking down food into molecules the body can absorb.
We are what we eat. That's one of the famous quotes for foods. ‘We are what we eat’ is saying that what we choose to eat is who we are. It's a phrase that means if you want to be fit and healthy, you should eat it healthy way as well. Our body has a natural way of living and being, which requires food to nourish and support it to function at an optimum level. Each organ and every cell in our body has a job to do and food plays a big part by supplying nutrients and giving the body energy and hydration – all of which are needed to stay alive.
