Learning Task 1: Try to get a piece of clay, then shape it to any figure.
What made you able to shape the clay into your desired figure? What
did you exert? Yes, you exerted a force. Get a piece of paper.
Crumple it. What happened to the paper? What made you do it?
Force is either a push or a pull on an object. Magnets, gravity and
friction can also cause things to move. Force can also change the
shape, size or movement of an object. You are able to exert force
because of energy. Energy is the ability to do work. Both living and
non-living things need energy to do work.​
