Kangaroos are the largest marsupial manmmals in the word, They are found mainly in
Australia, new Guinea and tasmania. In Australia, Kangaroo is the national animal. The main
reason behind making it national animal is that it always moves forward and never turus back
which symbolises progress and fearlessness.
A male Kangaroo is called a buck or a boomer. A female Kangaroo is called a doe or a
flyer. A daby Kangaroo is called Joey. Kangaroos have very good hearing power and eyesight.
Female Kangaroos keep their babies in their pouches for about nine months.
All Kangaroos have the same system of eating and digesting their food as the other
cattle and sheep have.They take the food firct to their chambered stomachl; bring it to the
mouth to chew it as cud and ther take back to stomach for the final digestion.
