1. Tempo is how fast or slow a piece of music is performed, while rhythm is the placement of sounds in time, in a regular and repeated pattern.
2. Most sheet music provides a tempo marking, which is how fast or slow you should sing a song. The marking is located at the very top of the sheet music, just below the composer and arrangers' names and just above the written music.
