in ur opinion why do u think that surfaces where food contact occurs are prone to wear and tear?

Its because when food had a contact into a surface,you will never know if that surface has germs or its clean.And if we say prone to wear and tear,its like something is damaged and thats how when food had a contact with a dirty surfaces and its being damaged and cannot be eaten anymore beacus it will cause illnesses
