Personal Insights about Macrame and basketry-
My personal thought about Basketry and macrame is that it's been pass on for generations and generations in many cultures like in arabic and the handicraft in india.
My personal insight about it is how Macrame doesn't need any tools to knit unlike knitting and sewing.
macrame help's knit using the knots and piece together with several knots. which i think is relaxing and environmentally friendly .
Basketry i think is good because it uses materials from nature such as Bamboo, Twigs, Barks, and etc. into baskets and
containers. it's made of traditional materials which fits their culture and tradition.
basketry or basket weaving i think can be made beautifully of art, geometric shapes, Squares And boxes, etc. that represents beauty in the tradition.
