1. Heterogeneous is a mixture which the composition is not uniform throught the mixture. Mixtures can be classified on the basis of particle size into three different types -- solutions, suspensions, and coloids.
2. We all known that homogeneous and heterogeneous mixture we will always see in our daily lives. These mixtures can be found in our foods, drinks, and belongings. It is important because they can provide the separation of two components. It also helps to determine whether the mixture is heterogeneous or homogeneous so that we will be more knowglegeable the things aroud us. Without of this proper understanding about this, we will still clueless about the things around us.
3. A suspension and colloids are both heterogeneous. Supension is identifiable because the particles are large and settle out of the dispersing medium due to the gravity effects and also the disperse particles of a colloid are intermidiate in size between of a solution and suspension.
