As , we know the formula of simple interest ( S.I.) S.I. = P×R×T/100 we know S.I. = Rs. 904 rate= 7% and Time = 5 years ,P= x 904 = x × 7×5/100 =18080/7 = Rs. 2582.85 principal = Rs. 2582.85
