(Before I type in my explanation, I hope my answers helped!)
Phases of The Moon:
New Moon -In this phase of the moon, you could barely see the moon or not even see it at all, a solar eclipse sometimes happens at this phase.
Waxing Crescent Moon - After the new moon, you will see a little part of the moon the looks like a letter C but it is on the right side.
First Quarter Moon - After the waxing crescent moon, you will be able to see a half-lighted part of the moon on the right at this phase and it looks like a letter D.
Waxing Gibbous Moon - After the first quarter moon, you will be able to see a more lighted part of the moon on the right side and a little bit of dark side on the left.
Full Moon - You will be able to see the whole moon shining bright at this phase, a lunar eclipse sometimes happens at this phase and we sometimes won't be able to see the moon at a lunar eclipse, and at this event, the moon sometimes has a reddish or reddish-dark color just like when we put our finger at the flashlight of our phones, we call it blood moon or red moon.
Waning Gibbous Moon - After the full moon, you will be able to see a dark side of the moon but its place is on the opposite side (right) unlike the waxing gibbous moon.
Last Quarter Moon - This phase is just like the first quarter moon but the illuminated side of this phase is on the left.
Waning Crescent Moon - The last phase of the moon is the waning crescent moon. At this phase, you will be able to see a small crescent on the left and it looks like a letter C.
