Operas are more famous in the western countries. Here in the Philippines, operas and opera houses are not at all common. Opera and Theater houses are more evident in the Philippines during the 1960s-1970s. Currently we only have operas performed in theaters and in but those acts are from other countries. There may some small shows in some cultural schools but the fact that opera is not that patronized by the masses operas in this country is slowly dying.
