First of all, every sin is deadly. Paul wrote that “the wages of sin is death”. There is nothing at all that separates these seven sins from any other in terms of deadliness.
That being said, no man can successfully control their sins. Even those who have put their faith in Christ Jesus and live by the power of God’s Spirit can only hope for improvement, not perfection. We are fallen, corrupt humans beings. We long for things which harm us. Sin is no different.
In fact, James says that even if a person can have perfect control over only what they speak, they will have perfect control over their whole bodies. Of course, he also tells us that no one has perfect control over what they speak, so it’s kind of a moot point.
