Direction: Match the common injuries in column A to its corresponding first aid in column B. Column A

Column B
a. When the person cannot speak or stops coughing, give him 5 back blows or abdominal thrust.
b. Flood the injured area with cold water to
stop and relieve pain
c. If the person is conscious, give him/her
full-dose aspirin and advise to chew it slowly.
d. Give him plenty of flavorless fluid and a bowl to use if s/he vomits.
e. Check the breathing and open airway then give rescue breath and
chest compression if necessary.
f. Do not try to move the dislocated part or force it back into place.
g. Incline his head to the affected side and place a towel on his shoulder to absorb any dribbling, then call for an ambulance. Call for an ambulance.
h. Give him/her plenty of water to drink.
i. Cold compress and elevate the injured part.
j. If you must move the person, immobilize the injured part by splint.
