¶ISOELECTRONS: Isoelectronic means 'same number of electrons'. If sodium and magnesium from ions they both have E.C 2,8 , so they are isoelectronic with each other and with a neon atom , not to mention oxide and fluoride.
¶ISOTONES:The elements having same atomic number but different number of neurones is known as Isotones.
