Answer:
1. A square is a four-sided polygon which has it's all sides equal in length and the measure of the angles are 90 degrees. The shape of the square is such as, if it is cut by a plane from the center, then both the halves are symmetrical. Each half of the square then looks like a rectangle with opposite sides equal.
2. The trapezium is a quadrilateral with one pair of parallel opposite sides. The parallel sides of a trapezium are called bases and the non-parallel sides of a trapezium are called legs. It is also called a trapezoid.
3. A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel sides. The opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal in length, and the opposite angles are equal in measure.
4. Rhombus is a quadrilateral with all equal sides. Since opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal so, rhombus is a special type of a parallelogram whose all sides are equal
5. A Rectangle is a four sided-polygon, having all the internal angles equal to 90 degrees. The two sides at each corner or vertex, meet at right angles. The opposite sides of the rectangle are equal in length which makes it different from a square.
