Yes I can help you with, Vibration is a scientific word which exactly means some created disturbance . Resonant Vibrations mean those which follow a particular path or way according to the frequency for instance we can say a sinusoidal wave in which it has some crests and throughs I mean the peaks from top and bottom. Now coming to the Free Vibrations, the name says it is free so those vibrations doesn't follow any path or something they move randomly or in a clumsy path.
What is the difference between free vibration and forced vibration?
Free vibrations involve no transfer of energy between the vibrating object and its surroundings, whereas forced vibrations occur when there's an external driving force and thus transfer of energy between the vibrating object and its surroundings. Answered by Michael S.
