Malong- traditional hand woven tube skirt that is made using a backstrap loom
The malong is adorned with a planar pattern consisting of crosses and flowers as motifs. A frieze pattern runs along the center of the malong. The symmetry group of the repeating pattern is pmm. There are 1800 rotational symmetries with centers located at a center of a flower and at a cross.
Materials used in malong
-For everyday wear, the malong is usually made of cotton with simple plaids and stripes as the preferred patterns. The more elaborate malong made of silk, in colors of red, purple, and yellow, is worn for ceremonial occasions. In the past, yellow was reserved for the local royalty.
Malong is used as skirt, as a fabric used in wrapping for newborn babies, and again wrapping a person upon death with malong.
Balanghay or Balangay, also spelled barangay, is a type of lashed-lug boat built by joining planks edge-to-edge using pins, dowels, and fiber lashings. They are found throughout the Philippines and were used largely as trading ships up until the colonial era

Okir itself means Carve. It came from old Malayan language which translates in Tagalog as "Ukit"
Materials Used: Wood because it is commonly used as patterns in wood carving
Element - Okir or okil is the term for rectilinear and curvilinear plant-based designs and folk motifs that can be usually found among the Moro and Lumad people of the Southern Philippines, as well as parts of Sabah.

Torogan is a traditional ancestral house built by the Maranao people of Lanao, Mindanao, Philippines for the nobility. A torogan was a symbol of high social status. Such a residence was once a home to a sultan or datu in the Maranao community.
Elements used : Balance and Shape
The most distinct part of the torogan is the "panolong" (end-beams) with wing-like detail that resembles the prow ends of the boats used by their ancestors to reach the shores of Lanao. It is intricately carved with the following okir designs - the serpent called "niyaga" with mouth facing east.
Purpose
Torogan literally means "resting place" or sleeping place.
