Since Length > Breadth and angle of vertices is 90° , All figures are rectangles.
For the first small rectangle :-
Length = 4 cm ; Breadth = 2 cm
Area of rectangle = L × B
= 4cm × 2cm
= 8 cm²
For the second medium rectangle :-
Length = (5 + 4 + 5)cm = 14 cm²
Breadth = 2 cm
= 14 cm² × 2 cm²
= 28 cm²
For the third large rectangle :-
Length = (5 + 14 + 5)cm = 24 cm²
= 24 cm² × 2 cm²
= 48 cm²
Area of whole figure = 8 cm² + 28 cm² + 48 cm² = 84 cm²
