Batas Pambansa Blg. 344 – An Act to Enhance the Mobility of Disabled Persons by Requiring Certain Buildings, Institutions, Establishments and Public Utilities to install Facilities and Other Devices.

I. HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN DIFFERENT SETTINGS

A student is being complained by parents that he should not go to that school because he is from a poor community. The parents are afraid that their own children will be influenced badly. The school which is dependent on richly donations from parents are considering to remove the only student who belong from that community to rest the parents from protesting or moving forward to other means.
2. COMMUNITY
Violation: Being arrested without a warrant of arrest
A 25 year old male was taken by the police for alleged drug use but they took him without a warrant of arrest signed by a judge.
This is called the Writ of Habeas Corpus. Within 24 hours of administrative detention, the investigating judge may decide to deprive an accused person of l1//b///3//r/t//y.
3. WORKPLACE
Violation: Power Harassment in the workplace (including sexual harassment) A woman in an entry level is constantly harassed by her supervisor and male co-workers. She is always told to dress in such a way and to wear make-up. When she tries to complain, the managers will make her life difficult while working.
4. HOME
Violation: Deprivation from basic sustenance and basic rights
Children's rights should never be ignored. A child who is just 8 is already working to feed his family. The parents are depriving him from proper nutrition and education.

I realized while I was compiling the scenarios of different forms of harassment, that they are being normalized sometimes in the community. I am also enlightened that what they sometimes call as a "family problem", "just fun", or simple bullying constitutes to violation of our basic human rights.

As a student in the Senior High School, I will do my best to fend off these human rights violations even if I am just a student. There are many ways for people like me to do so. Here are some ways:
a. Do not act blind of act as if it what one is doing to another person is normal and is a personal problem. If you know that a person is being hurt by another especially someone in authority, acknowledge it.
b. Educate my generation about what Human Rights Violations are. These violations are ripping people away from their rights by people in authority like parents, teachers, police officers, and government officials.
