1. For me, Eve chose to eat the forbidden fruit, its because She want to be a Goddess. God let Adam & Eve eat the fruit because He wanted them to make a free choice everyday to find or seek moral wisdom & respect to Him. But then, Satan tempted them to eat the apple at the tree of knowledge of Good & Evil.
2. Officially, Yes! Its because some people right now, are tempted to do evil/bad works. Which may affect to the environment or the people in the environment. That's why we need to trust & have a strong and deep faith to the Almighty God.
