Earthworm: Hide and Seek GIF ver wurm worm - animated GIF on GIFER A group of students observed that in moist soil, there was an earthworm while in another section where soil was dry, there was no presence of earthworm. They wondered what type of soil earthworms preferred. They decided to dig each section of soil and found out that the composition of moist soil was watery, dark-colored, and with compost while in another section, the soil was totally dry. They guessed that the earthworms were attracted to cold, moist, and healthy soil. They began their experiment by collecting soil and put portions of it in two pots (pot A and pot B). On pot A, they mixed the soil with biodegradable materials and watered it while they put nothing in pot B. As they waited for several days, they observed the following result (see Figure 1.0).
