The moral lesson of the story is that it is essential to listen to the advice of those who care for us. We should prioritize our safety and well-being above our curiosity or desires. The story also shows that sometimes, we become so focused on achieving a goal that we forget the potential risks and dangers. It is important to remain mindful of the consequences of our actions, especially when they can cause harm to ourselves or others.
