Documenting my training in volleyball posture and body mechanics has been a rewarding experience. I have learned how to properly stand when preparing to receive a serve, how to use my body to execute a jump serve, and how to move my feet to best set up a powerful hit.
I have practised the skills in a variety of contexts, such as 3x in a 5 meter area and 3x in a 10 meter area, to gain experience in different game situations. It has been beneficial to be evaluated on my performance in both 5 meter and 10 meter areas, as it has allowed me to accurately gauge my improvement and adjust my practice accordingly.
I have also had the opportunity to practice with a variety of partners, which has allowed me to refine my technique by learning from different players. For example, I have been able to learn how to optimize my approach to the net from one partner, and how to accurately line up my body to hit the ball from another.
Overall, my training in volleyball posture and body mechanics has been an invaluable experience. I have been able to learn important technical skills, and gain experience in different game situations. This knowledge and experience has allowed me to become a better volleyball player, and I am grateful for the opportunity.
