Do you change your actions and activities when you’re in the presence of the other gender? How and why?
As a masculine person, why would I change my actions and activities in the presence of a feminine person who is the same sex that has the same type of choices to live as I do. You have confused gender traits with sex identity like many others do, because of the understanding promoted by society’s stereotypes. Males and females have been positioned in different expected roles according to their sex, not because of their gender traits. “Feminine” guys are still expected to fulfil their male roles, as “masculine” gals are expected to do their female roles.

If one sees the other as more than a casual friend, but a potential mate and doesn’t know what or how the other person would react to becoming a partner, then they need to have a conversation to find out. Then again, when two people of the opposite sex have been good friends most of their lives and shared many experiences, who knows what can happen, but communications, understanding, respect, and honesty are very important in any good worthwhile relationships
