Yes. Because us humans believe that there is a greater power amongst ourselves, and with that greater power, we think that when we die we go on from the material world to the spiritual world, where that power resides. The Egyptians believed that when they die, they go to the afterlife with their Gods, the Greeks to the land of the dead, Hades, and the Vikings to the realm of Valhalla, awaiting the final battle of Ragnarok. They common things found in these myths is the belief that when we die, we go to a greater world. We live on after death. Similarly, this belief is found in my religion of Christianity, wherein when we die, we go to either heaven or hell. So, I believe that someday, when we go on, we reach another world where we start over.
