All worms will not produce silk. It can be made only by silkworm. The silk is a natural protein fiber that is woven to form as a cocoon. The varieties that we get in silk are from different varieties of silkworm. The different varieties are Mulberry Silk produced by Bombyx Mori; Tussah silkworms; Mussels etc.
