Ms. Sanchez is a teacher who devoted her life to teaching the
children. During weekdays, she teaches at school, and on weekends
she gathers all the neighboring children and teaches them to read, write
and count.
One day, the barangay officials noticed the kindness done by Ms.
Sanchez to the children. They decided to go to her house. As they
reached Ms. Sanchez’s house, they were so surprised to see a mini- classroom in
her garden where the children learn to count, write, and
read.
Ms. Sanchez was also surprised to see the Barangay Officials in
her house. She hurriedly entertained them. They asked Ms. Sanchez if
she is willing to be a volunteer teacher in the Literacy Program of the
barangay. Without much hesitation, she accepted being a volunteer teacher
on the Literacy Program. The barangay officials leave her house happily.

4. What can you say about each character in the story?

The main character which is Ms. Sanchez is a devoted teacher to her students. It is seen from her her actions that she is passionate about teaching since even on the weekends she teaches the neighboring children on how to read, count and write. The children in the story seems to be happy about Ms. Sanchez's attitude in teaching and the Barangay officials has seen the devotion of Ms. Sanchez, so they decided to offer her a position as volunteer teacher in a literacy program.

5. What is the story all about?

The stort is all about how Ms. Sanchez devotes herself in teaching children. She enjoys her profession so much to the point it is visibly seen in her efforts such as making a mini-classroom in her garden and still teaches the children even in the weekend. Since, her efforts were great the children loved her and the barangay officials offered her voluntary work in the literacy program. The moral of the story is if you are passionate about your job and putting in efforts for it out of your own will then someday all of it will be worth it in the end.
