“In my lifetime, I have given much thought to the problem of littleness and bigness.
And I want to say that I’m glad to be a little fellow.
Many little fellows feel a sense of inferiority because of their stature. I must confess
that, in my younger days, I once experimented with wearing elevated shoes. But that made me feel I was trying to appear something I was not. However, we little fellows have another advantage. We usually have a special gift for making friends. People feel protective over us. They find it easy to confide in us. Most of us learn early in life that friendliness is as great a force as physical strength.”

"Over the course of my life, I've given considerable attention to the issue of smallness and largeness.
And I'd like to express my gratitude for being a small individual.
Because of their diminutive size, many small people feel inferior. I have to admit
that I used to wear high shoes when I was younger. But it made me feel like I was trying to be someone I wasn't. We tiny guys, on the other hand, have a distinct advantage. We usually have a great talent for meeting new people. People are wary of us. They are comfortable confiding in us. Friendship, like physical strength, is a power that most of us discover early in life."
