You have to lift up your body mass under the presence of gravity, so you have to overcome the force of gravity. While climbing up the stairs you have to put force on ground, more then your weight, which put same force but in opposite direction i.e. on you.
2.Falling of leaves from the branches of the tree.
Since plants are alive, gravity has a large effect on them. For instance, a tall tree needs to get water from the ground up to the leaves at the top of the tree and gravity makes this very hard. And of course, leaves fall off trees into piles of leaves on the ground because of gravit
