A. Blank Document vs. Template

• Blank document is literally a blank piece of paper. There is no information and no formating.

• Template is a document which is already formatted in some way.

B. Backspace vs Delete

• Backspace deletes the typed character to the left of the blinking insertion-point cursor.

• Delete (Del) removes the character to the right of the blinking insertion-point cursor.

C. Save vs. Save As

• Save helps to update the lastly preserved file with the latest content.

• Save As helps to store a new file or to store an existing file to a new location with the same name or a different name.

D. Copy vs. Cut

• Cut removes the selected data from its original position.

• Copy creates a duplicate of the original content.
